Hi, I'm Em and I'm a proud Bardi woman from Broome, Western Australia.
And I'm Dave, I'm a proud Bunurong man from the South-East of Victoria. And we're here today on Gadigal Country in Sydney and want to tell you some of the ways ANZ celebrates First Nations culture.
Dave and I are part of the Indigenous Small Business Banking team and we support First Nation customers with their businesses.
We love that our role connects us to mob and ANZ helps us connect personally.
Absolutely, within ANZ we connect with community in so many different ways. There's ANZ's Reconciliation Network where First Nation and non-Indigenous employees come together including for Reconciliation Week and NAIDOC Week events Australia-wide.
There's Ngarga Wangaddja, ANZ's First Nation employees reference group. And we also have Bulurru Yugi, a network for First Nation employees to gather and to connect.
There's a variety of leave options that support things like cultural practices, community events and sorry business. And the option to work on January 26 and take a different day off.
As for your career, the First Nations Talent and Culture team can guide you on your journey, helping you grow with an organisation that is committed to First Nations people and communities.
Did you know ANZ was the first Australian bank to have a RAP? And we recently appointed a Head of First Nation Strategy.
Thanks for watching, we're glad you're considering a career at ANZ, and we hope to see you around.
