The Finance Business Partner (FBP) Senior Analyst serves as a key contributor supporting financial operations, analysis, and planning activities for assigned portfolios. The role combines analytical rigor, business acumen, and stakeholder engagement to help leadership make informed financial decisions and ensure accurate, timely financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Operations & Reporting:
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial processes, including reporting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Support the accurate setup and maintenance of charge codes, charging structures, and access workflows
Stakeholder Support & Issue Resolution:
- Act as a resource for cross‑functional teams by providing timely responses and resolving operational issues, such as updating timesheet approvers or assisting with time reporting inquiries (as seen in internal email interactions)
- Partner closely with project managers, workforce management, and operations teams to ensure financial accuracy and compliance
Forecasting & Planning Participation:
- Support the development and refinement of resource forecasts, staffing projections, and financial outlooks
- Collaborate with FP&A and project leadership to validate roll‑on/roll‑off plans and align backlog inputs with enterprise tools
Data Analysis & Insights:
- Analyze financial trends and KPIs to provide actionable insights to managers and program leads. Use tools such as Costpoint, Excel, and internal forecasting systems to develop data‑driven recommendations
Governance, Controls, & Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to corporate policies, federal contracting regulations, and internal audit standards
- Maintain accurate documentation and support audit readiness efforts
Here's what you need:
- 1 year of relevant experience in either finance, accounting or business analysis
- Experience in one or more of the following areas: budgeting, forecasting, or financial reporting
- Experience utilizing Excel to create Pivot tables, Look ups and data manipulation techniques

The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below.
