Field Sales Executive Building Materials
The Sales Executive will be responsible for promoting and selling building material products within the assigned territory. This role involves extensive field work , including visiting construction sites, meeting industry professionals, and identifying new business opportunities. The candidate will focus on building strong client relationships, expanding the customer base, and achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities - Conduct regular field visits to construction sites, dealer locations, and project offices to generate business opportunities.
- Identify and approach potential customers such as contractors, builders, architects, consultants, distributors, and site engineers .
- Present product features, benefits, and solutions to prospective clients.
- Maintain relationships with existing customers and ensure repeat business.
- Track market trends, competitor activity, and pricing to stay informed about industry developments.
- Negotiate pricing and commercial terms with clients to close sales successfully.
- Achieve assigned monthly and quarterly sales targets .
- Generate new leads through site visits, networking, and referrals.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, site visits, and sales activities.
- Prepare and submit daily and periodic sales reports to the reporting manager.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in sales within the building materials industry .
- Experience working with products such as fiber cement boards, gypsum boards, sandwich panels, tile adhesive, putty, block fix, marble, granite, stone, pipes, or ceramic materials .
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage field-based sales activities .

- Candidates with experience exclusively in cement or ready-mix concrete (RMC) sales will not be considered.
