External Account Manager Pharma – Barcelona

Brenntag, global leader in the distribution of chemicals and ingredients, is looking for an External Account Manager Pharma to join our Pharma division in Barcelona.

This is a great opportunity to take ownership of key accounts, drive business growth and build long-term relationships within a dynamic and international environment.

🚀 Your responsibilities

As part of our Pharma team, you will:

  • Develop and grow existing key accounts (Gold / Silver / Bronze), maximizing sales through cross-selling and value-based pricing
  • Identify new business opportunities and convert prospects into long-term customers
  • Plan and execute customer visits, manage negotiations and close commercial agreements
  • Respond to RFQs and prepare tailored commercial proposals
  • Analyze customer potential and define actionable growth plans
  • Lead and coordinate customer-related projects and initiatives
  • Maintain CRM (Salesforce) and ensure accurate reporting

🎯 Your profile

  • We are looking for a commercial and proactive professional with:

    • Degree in Life Sciences (Pharmacy, Chemistry or similar)
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in sales (ideally in pharma, chemicals or related industry)
    • Strong communication and negotiation skills
    • Fluent English and Catalan (written and spoken)
    • Knowledge of Salesforce, SAP or similar tools is a plus
