Join our Environmental Health & Safety team The Field HSE Specialist offers expert knowledge and skills in order to generate and promote a positive health and safety culture. This represents a key role in helping control occupational risk on the rig. Partner with the best in this role, you will be ensuring the well being of our workforce and compliance of HSE on-site. you will build relationships with cross-functional team ensure requirements are met. you will provide solutions and help to develop your team and continuous improvement of our HSE. As a Environmental Health & Safety Specialist, you will be responsible for: Managing, applying and ensure adherence with Client and BH HSE policies and procedures, and assist the contracted services to comply with the same. Promoting, with the management, a safety culture within the workplace in accordance with the industry best practices. Leading / participating effectively in the site various HSE meetings, present safety data and statistics, communicate HSE alerts and lessons learnt, and discuss issues related to HSE with the crew. Performing, verifying and following up with site inspections as required. Ensuring that all inspections are performed in accordance with Client and BH requirements, and generate a Remedial Work Plan (RWP) for non-compliance. Monitoring the work environment and watch out for the safety of all workers to protect them from entering hazardous situations, particularly during work performed under specific PTW requirements. Reporting all incidents, accidents and near misses immediately and lead the investigation and analysis process. Compile incidents reports and communicate the investigation results as required. Conducting site HSE inductions for all crew and visitors. Ensure all crew are certified as per Client and BH training matrixes, and conduct refresher training as required. Fuel your Passion To be successful in this role you will : Have High school diploma or equivalent is required; higher education is an advantage. Have NEBOSH IGC certification is mandatory. Have 5 years minimum Experience in Drilling rig operations. Familiar with Rig Aramco HSE Requirements. Working with us Our people are at the heart of what we do at Baker Hughes.
