Inside the Teleports and Ground Infrastructures Engineering Area in Rome, we are looking for and Electrical Infrastructures Engineer.
The selected candidate will be responsible for the following activities:
Design of electrical and technological infrastructures for satellite communications ground stations (Datacenter, Control Room, building layout upgrades)
Electrical and HVAC plant design for CED (equipment rooms) and ground stations
Supervision of construction, installation, integration and testing phases
Development of technical-economic proposals for tenders
Requirements analysis and definition of infrastructure architecture and technical specifications
Production of technical documentation (technical notes, product specifications, statements of work)
Technical project management of infrastructure, procurement and subcontractors
Progress monitoring and control against estimated timelines and costs
Requirements:
Master Degree in Electrical Engineering or related fields
3-5 years of experience in similar role
Good knowledge of AUTOCAD
Knowledge of Thermal and air conditioning system principle and functionalities
Fluent written and spoken English
Fundamentals of Electrical power distribution systems
Experience in the development of project documentation (Technical Note, Product technical specification, Statement of work)
Experience in the application of safety norms (D.lgs. 81/08)
Attitude to Technical Project Management, teamwork and passion for the space sector
Availability to travel, not limited to Telespazio Teleports but also including worldwide destinations for limited period of times, is required
