Inside the Teleports and Ground Infrastructures Engineering Area in Rome, we are looking for and Electrical Infrastructures Engineer.

The selected candidate will be responsible for the following activities:

• Design of electrical and technological infrastructures for satellite communications ground stations (Datacenter, Control Room, building layout upgrades)

• Electrical and HVAC plant design for CED (equipment rooms) and ground stations

• Supervision of construction, installation, integration and testing phases

• Development of technical-economic proposals for tenders

• Requirements analysis and definition of infrastructure architecture and technical specifications

• Production of technical documentation (technical notes, product specifications, statements of work)

• Technical project management of infrastructure, procurement and subcontractors

• Progress monitoring and control against estimated timelines and costs

Requirements:

• Master Degree in Electrical Engineering or related fields

• 3-5 years of experience in similar role

• Good knowledge of AUTOCAD

• Knowledge of Thermal and air conditioning system principle and functionalities

• Fluent written and spoken English

• Fundamentals of Electrical power distribution systems

• Experience in the development of project documentation (Technical Note, Product technical specification, Statement of work)

• Experience in the application of safety norms (D.lgs. 81/08)

• Attitude to Technical Project Management, teamwork and passion for the space sector

• Availability to travel, not limited to Telespazio Teleports but also including worldwide destinations for limited period of times, is required
