Job Description

Lead the Tech Resiliency and Recovery function for Ameriprise as part of the broader Technology Operations Center team. This includes providing leadership with running our Technology Resiliency and Recovery program for the company, working with various Application and Platform infrastructure owners in developing the recovery plans, exercising them and reporting outcomes to senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Major areas of accountability:
  • Develop and manage the TRR or Technology Recovery and Resiliency program for the company. Partner with Enterprise Resiliency to create execution plans for creating and exercising recovery plans for all Technology components eligible for recovery per Resiliency standards.
  • Provide in region leadership of the Technology Operations Center function that is responsible for 24 by 7 availability management, command center operations. Work closely with the Service Management (ITSM) owner within TOC to manage day to day Operational outcomes.
  • Work with stakeholders across Technologies on managing Availability and TRR plans, reporting of outcomes to senior leadership.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree (4-years) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business or related field; or equivalent work experience.
  • 10+ years experience overall in a technology organization.
  • 5-7 Years experience in Technology role, ITSM operations.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience building and maintaining a resource network; demonstrated skills in building effective business consulting relationships.
  • Successful work experience in a large, corporate matrixed environment.
  • ITIL Certified and managed Recovery and resiliency programs as part of a previous role.

Our employees work in the office at least four (4) days per week, with flexibility to work from home one (1) day per week. Some roles may require additional in-office time or different in-office expectations, and specific requirements will be discussed during the hiring process.
 

Base Pay Salary

The estimated base salary for this role is $131,000 - $180,000 a year. We have a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy. Your initial total compensation may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographical work location. In addition, most of our roles are eligible for variable pay in the form of bonus, commissions, and/or long-term incentives depending on the role.
