We are building the next generation of talent in industrial real estate while continuing to execute at the highest level across acquisitions and dispositions. This role is designed for a proven investment professional who is equally passionate about developing people as they are about delivering analytical and transactional excellence.
As Director Acquisitions & Dispositions, you will lead a team of 6 – 8, mentoring and developing early-to-mid career professionals on our Acquisitions & Dispositions teams. Additionally, you will work on complex investment analysis and transaction execution across the Americas. You will help shape both investment outcomes and the future talent pipeline of the organization.
Key responsibilities include:
Talent Development & Team Leadership
Serve as a first-line people leader for Analyst/Associates, including assigning projects, providing coaching, and supporting performance management.
Identify, develop, and mentor early-career talent with an emphasis on building future investment leaders.
Create, organize, and deliver training resources across core areas such as underwriting, market analysis, and investment strategy.
Provide real-time coaching through live deal exposure, ensuring analysts gain practical, hands-on experience.
Foster a high-performance, inclusive learning environment that emphasizes accountability, analytical rigor, and professional growth.
Transaction & Analytical Leadership
Lead underwriting and execution of acquisitions, dispositions, M&A, joint ventures, and portfolio transactions across the Americas.
Analyze internal and external investment opportunities, including financial modeling, valuation, and structuring of joint ventures and fund investments.
Partner with Regional Leadership to identify acquisition targets and disposition candidates aligned with corporate strategy.
Develop and present investment memos and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and Investment Committee.
Identify, anticipate, and capitalize on capital markets trends to maximize value creation.
Build and maintain relationships with brokers, institutional investors, and capital partners; support negotiation of term sheets and transaction documents through closing.
Building blocks for success
Required:
Minimum of 7+ years of experience executing acquisitions, dispositions, or related investment transactions.
Strong expertise in underwriting, including advanced proficiency in ARGUS and Excel-based cash flow modeling.
Demonstrated ability to lead complex transactions from sourcing through closing.
Passion for talent development, with experience mentoring, coaching, or managing early-career professionals.
Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting to senior stakeholders.
Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment while building new processes and programs.
Proven ability to balance individual contribution with team leadership responsibilities.
Willingness to travel up to 20% during peak periods.
Preferred:
Experience designing or contributing to training programs or structured development initiatives.
Broad knowledge of industrial real estate markets and investment strategies across regions.
Experience working across multiple functions (e.g., investments, capital deployment, asset management).
Hiring Salary Range of: $153,600 - $200,000. Salary and whole compensation package (bonus target and LTI) to be determined by the candidate’s location, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
