The Opportunity

Business Unit Service is at the forefront of delivering advanced service solutions worldwide. Our Digital Service Solutions R&D organization is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering next-generation digital service solutions that accelerate the transformation toward outcome-based service offerings. By leveraging data, AI, and emerging technologies, we create scalable, high-value digital capabilities that support customers throughout the asset lifecycle and underpin long-term service growth.

As Digital Business Analyst, you will play a key role in translating business needs, service processes, and user requirements into clear, structured, and actionable solution requirements for BU Service digital service solutions. You will support the development lifecycle through continuous collaboration with business and technical stakeholders, ensuring that requirements are refined iteratively, remain traceable, and are fit for implementation and validation.

This role directly impacts the success of customer-relevant and operationally effective digital solutions by bridging Product Management, service domain experts, architecture, and development teams. Your work will help ensure that requirements are clear, consistent, testable, and aligned with both business value and practical implementation needs.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Elicit, analyze, document, and maintain functional and non-functional requirements for digital service solutions.

  • Define use cases, user stories, process flows, business rules, and acceptance criteria in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.

  • Act as a key interface between Product Management, service domain experts, architecture, development, and other stakeholders to clarify needs and resolve requirement gaps.

  • Analyze current and target business and service processes to identify needs, impacts, and improvement opportunities.

  • Support Product Management and delivery teams in refining requirements into epics, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

  • Provide requirement clarification during development, testing, rollout, and user acceptance activities.

  • Maintain traceability between business needs, requirements, solution features, and acceptance criteria.

  • Support verification and validation by helping ensure requirements are complete, testable, and well documented.

  • Maintain high-quality documentation of requirements, assumptions, decisions, and process descriptions.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement of analysis methods, templates, and collaboration practices within the team.

Your Background

  • University degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

  • Proven experience in business analysis, requirements engineering, or a similar role in digital or software solution development.

  • Strong ability to elicit, structure, document, and communicate requirements clearly.

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in agile, hybrid, or structured development environments, including iterative requirement refinement.

  • Experience with process analysis, workflow documentation, and acceptance criteria definition.

  • Strong communication, facilitation, and documentation skills in English.

  • Experience with digital service solutions in industrial, energy, utility, or asset-intensive environments is an advantage.

  • Familiarity with backlog refinement, process modeling, user journey mapping, testing support, or requirement management tools is meriting.
