The Position
Deputy Manager - Maintenance & EHSJob Summary
KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The position holder is responsible for the upkeep, Electrical & Mechanical maintenance, and development of the maintenance jobs.
To carry out preventive, breakdown, predictive, and corrective maintenance / Utilities activities as per schedule & adhering to the safety standards of Imerys and ensuring that they are followed by others.
Coordinate, schedule, and review all plant safety and reliability inspections & Provide technical support to identify, investigate and solve mechanical / electrical operating and operability of the facility.
Plan, design and execute necessary repairs and/or modifications to resolve discrepancies identified by the Corporate Inspection Program.
Develop and maintain the following equipment documentation; description, spare parts, equipment lists, histories, manuals, flow sheet; documentation, drawings, etc.
Plan, develop and initiate the scope and priority for special maintenance work such as annual plant shutdowns, CAPEX & OPEX projects and investment plan for sustenance as well as expansion projects.
PLC operating systems & Schematic drawing review and set process parameters for the SCADA system.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Education: B.Tech (Electrical) with min 6 to 10 yrs of experience or Diploma in Electrical with minimum 10 years of experience playing an active role and independently responsible for maintenance function.
Any graduate with proven experience in handling both Mechanical & electrical teams can be considered.
Knowledge in PLC, Automation PC’s, Instrumentation, Erection and Commissioning of PCC & MCC Panels is preferred & Knowledge of Ball Mill & Crushing plant Ball Mill, Crusher, Blowers, Centrifugal fan, bag filter, belt conveyor maintenance is a plus.
Should be Fluent in English & Hindi ( Gujarati Language will be an additional advantage).
