Head of Creator Marketing Location: Beijing/Shanghai Role overview Edelman is building the most trusted, effective, and measurable Creator Marketing offering in the world. As the leader of Creator at Edelman China, you will be responsible for empowering the business, elevating "creator content" from a communication tool to a core engine driving brand business growth and setting a new standard for creator marketing in the Chinese market. What you’ll lead · Strategic Definer: Bridge global strategy with China's local ecosystem, formulate and lead the execution of the creator content strategy blueprint for the Chinese market. · Business Growth Partner: Deeply integrate the creator ecosystem into clients' public relations and brand strategies, and be responsible for core business metrics (revenue, profit, customer satisfaction). · Core of Ecosystem and Relationships: Establish and maintain a network of top creators, MCNs, and platform partners across all platforms, ensuring the team always has access to the best resources. · Guardian of Excellence in Content: Lead the team in planning and executing large-scale integrated marketing campaigns centered on creators, ensuring all content is top-tier in terms of creativity, narrative, and brand tone. Key responsibilities · Strategic and Business Leadership: Develop the annual creator strategy blueprint for the Chinese market, deeply integrate it into the overall marketing plans of clients, and provide strategic insights as a top expert to core clients and internally. · Ecosystem and Relationship Building: Establish a network of top creators and platform resources, explore content trends, platform algorithms, and user psychology, and explore emerging forms such as virtual idols and AI creators. · Content Excellence and Operations: Lead the planning and execution of large-scale integrated marketing campaigns, oversee the entire process from creativity, production, distribution to effect optimization, and establish a quality and compliance system. · Team Empowerment and Culture Building: Recruit, train, and motivate high-performing teams, build a culture that encourages innovation and results orientation, accumulate methodologies, and enhance the company's thought leadership in the creator economy. Qualifications · Over 12 years of relevant experience, including at least 4 years in a senior management position as a creator or in content ecosystem roles at 4A PR agencies, international advertising companies, or top-tier MCN institutions. · Deep understanding and passion for China's digital content ecosystem, with extensive connections to top creators, MCNs, and platforms. · Exceptional business acumen, capable of clearly articulating the contribution of creator content to brands and businesses. · Fluent in both Chinese and English, able to seamlessly collaborate with global teams.
