Responsible for identifying, researching, evaluating, and selecting suppliers that meet the organization’s standards in terms of cost, quality, delivery timelines, and supply reliability. Evaluates supplier products to ensure compliance with specifications and the organization’s required quality standards. Analyzes and assesses supplier bids, proposals, and quotations, and negotiates pricing and delivery terms. Interprets inventory requests, production plans, purchase requisitions, orders, and other related documents to coordinate procurement activities aligned with the organization’s current and forecasted demand for goods and materials.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Experience in supplier development
- Proficient in MRP/ERP systems
- Experience managing purchases with both domestic and international suppliers
- Strong negotiation skills
- Cost analysis expertise
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Proficient in computer applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
