ABOUT THE JOB

We are seeking motivated Business Analyst Manager to join our talented teams in delivering an unprecedented user experience across our customer and banker journey.

As a BA Manager, you will support a team of Senior Business Analysts on their various projects; including workload and capacity management, ensuring consistency in ways of working and a growing maturity in how Business Analysis is conducted at NAB.

You will work with a variety of key stakeholders such as Product Owners, Fellow BA’s, Solution Architects, Solution Designers, and the scrum team to refine and socialise detailed requirements as well as Maximise the value being delivered by ensuring all features and stories are aligned to business value.

YOUR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Business Analysis Practice 

  • Extend the support to Head of BA from Australia in managing the workload and capacity requirements in Vietnam for the sub-domains within Delivery, Intelligence and Innovation
  • Use a consultative approach to define best practices for Business Analysis in collaboration with Head of BA in Australia.
  • Support Data collation, deep analysis and data interpretation/communication for informed decision making across complex environments.
  • Ownership of as is/to be process maps, interaction models, customer journey maps and environments aligned to enterprise process architecture, applied within complex environments.
  • Understanding of SCRUM ceremonies and guide the Vietnam team on setting up of scrum boards, manage and track work across the sprints.
  • Lead and focus on the development of team members.
  • Ensure that standards are set, agreed, and achieved to support successful delivery of projects.

Planning & Management

  • Collaborates with Head of Business Analysis in Australia and key stakeholders across business and technology to complete the required artefacts and capture necessary inputs.
  • Works with the team to produce high fidelity estimates by providing crystal clear requirements definitions.
  • Proactive around risks, issues, blockers and raises them as soon as possible.
  • Constantly looks for opportunities to improve the overall process.
  • Improve engagement within team & with Australian members.

Your Skills and Experience

  • At least 12 years of experience in Business Analyst, 5 years in leading BA team (8-10 members). Have background in banking or financial services.
  • Building strong stakeholder relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions (e.g. customer centric view of product development).
  • Planning and prioritizing commitments aligned with organizational goals (e.g. prioritization of product development process).
  • Managing team performance and building team engagement activities.
  • Excellent English communication skills (both verbal & written) and strong presentation capabilities
  • Have knowledge of the principles, components, and features of Agile methodology; and an ability to apply this methodology to manage development processes.
  • Adapting approach and demeanour in real time to match the shifting demands of different situations.
  • Knowledge of the approaches, tools, and techniques for promoting creative, original thinking and ability to apply this across diverse situations
