Assistant Claims Manager / Senior Claims Officer (Commercial)
Job Summary
Large and complex claims handling and managerial support
Job Accountabilities
- Responsible for the large and complex liability and property claims
- Provide data analytics for Commercial portfolios
- Provide technical support to the team including work simplification and automation initiatives
- Responsible for orgranizing customer meeting presentation and preparation of Powerpoint slides
- Adheres to local regulatory and governance requirements throughout the life of the claim to ensure that we make decisions using the right standards
- Assist the Claims Manager in managerial tasks and other ad hoc tasks
- Compliance with customer protocols/service charter
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor degree or above with equivalent working experience
- 5 years or above experience in Liability and Property claims preferably with large and complex claims management skill
- Achieved recognised industry standard (e.g. Snr Asso. of ANZIIF)
- Technical knowledge of products and services
- Technical claims handling knowledge of Liability and Property Insurance products
- Understand local legislation and legal liability
- Understand industry standards and protocol
- Knowledge of claims agreements
- Knowledge and application of the litigation process
- Has extensive experience with all major aspects of the claims adjustment process
- Good command of written & spoken English and Chinese (including Mandarin)
- Experience in Liability and Property claims handling
- Experience in Liability and Property claims with good customer service skill is a must
- Data analytical skill is preferred
