Role: Test Automation Engineer

Location: Remote
Work timing: IST Hours (11-8 PM IST)
Job Description:
710 years of IT experience as a QA Automation Engineer in software testing, proficient in Oracle Applications, Client/Server, and Web-based applications.
Expertise in performing Functional Testing, Integration Testing, and Regression Testing.
Design and implement test strategies and automation frameworks.
Experience with test automation frameworks, including Page Object Model, Keyword-Driven, Data-Driven, and Hybrid frameworks.
Automated Test Scripting: Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, UFT, LeanFT, WebdriverIO, Rest Assured, TestNG, ALM, etc.
Required Skills:
- Hands-on experience with automation tools such as LeanFT, UFT, and WebdriverIO
- Basic knowledge of BDD frameworks such as Cucumber (feature files and step definitions)
- Experience with API automation using REST Assured
- Basic to intermediate Java programming knowledge for automation scripting
- Working knowledge of SQL queries for database validation
Specific Tool Expertise:
- LeanFT: Develop robust and maintainable test automation solutions
- Rest Assured: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for APIs and web services
- UFT: Write automation scripts for manual test cases and maintain sanity and regression suites
- Selenium Java: Develop automated scripts and frameworks using Selenium WebDriver with Java
- WebdriverIO: Develop and maintain scalable UI automation frameworks using WebdriverIO with JavaScript/TypeScript, integrating with modern test runners and CI/CD pipelines
- BDD (Cucumber): Develop test scripts for features, scenarios, and step definitions using Gherkin format
- Jenkins: Support CI/CD integration and execution of automated test suites
- Strong knowledge of SQL; perform database testing and automated data validation using JDBC
