Team Lead-Ops Risk Management

Looking for a people leader role in Operational Risk Management Risk office experienced in asset management and risk management industry and systems such as Workiva, Archer, Charles River, Aladdin, and Bloomberg.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Background supporting asset management risk, compliance, or investment operations teams.
  • KRI management, monthly Risk of Change (ROC), ad-hoc Request for Proposal (RFP).
  • Due Diligence questionnaires (DDQ), ad-hoc Risk Issue and Acceptance ad-hoc Governance.
  • Dashboards and Reports monthly Emerging Risks & Global Transformation.
  • Documenting procedures and supporting control testing.
  • Review large data sets for summary analysis and identify issues accurately.
  • Daily operational activities, such as data validation, reconciliations, performance checks, pricing support, or risk reporting.

Required Qualification:

  • Should have 5 - 7 Years of experience in Risk Management.
  • Background supporting asset management risk, compliance, or investment operations teams.
  • Experience working within a global capability center or shared services model. Prior experience in operational or enterprise risk management (ORM or ERM) or risk analytics.
  • Familiarity with operational risk management standards, including risk and control self-assessments (RCSA), risk events, key risk indicators (KRIs), control testing, process flows, in addition to the sub bullets below for governance and reporting.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as collaborate and lead cross-functional teams.
  • Candidates should have excellent proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Power BI, SQL, Power Point and other related tools.
  • Self-motivated; ability to deliver on competing priorities and multi-task on numerous deliverables.

Preferred Qualification:

  • Experience with asset management and risk management industry systems such as Workiva, Archer, Charles River, Aladdin, and Bloomberg.
  • Understanding of regulatory topics relevant to global asset management (e.g., US ’40 Act funds, UCITS, SEBI).
