We are looking for a senior, customer-facing RF expert in a pre-sales role who can architect and deliver advanced RF test and measurement solutions for complex Aerospace & Defence applications.

This role combines RF systems engineering, test strategy and deep instrumentation understanding with  usage experience, and technical consulting to support RADAR, EW/EMSO, MILCOM, Satellite Communications, and RF Surveillance programs, with a strong emphasis on Keysight-based solutions. The overall impact of this business is >USD10M pa.

Job Responsibility (Function, Description, Competencies)

• Work closely with clients and sales teams to unearth, understand customer needs and deliver customized RF test and measurement solutions, more specifically in the AD domain.
• Act as a technical advisor, consultant to clients during pre-sales, addressing complex technical queries and providing insightful solutions. Turn concepts into deliverables. Conduct Proof of Concept.
• Support customers with troubleshooting, testing on customer DUT / environment, interpreting results, optimization of test scenario, reduction of test times through automation. Committed to drive technical issues towards logical conclusion / closure with velocity.
• Develop and present technical documentation and demonstrations, positioning Keysight as a thought leader in RF testing and AD solutions.
• Collaborate with R&D, Industry Segment and Product teams for driving global initiatives and product roadmaps. Champion Voice of Customer to internal stakeholders.
• Develop and nurture system integrator and solution partners, defining strategies for integrating advanced measurement equipment and software, to deliver custom solutions across target applications.

Education: BE / ME / MTech in Electronics, ECE, or related discipline from a recognized university.

Experience: 10–14+ years in RF system design, testing or solution integration, preferably in Aerospace & Defence.

Customer-facing experience in Field Applications, Pre-Sales or Solutions Engineering roles is strongly preferred.

Technical Skills

• Strong expertise in RF and microwave systems.
• Strong understanding of RF test and measurement equipment, system-level testing, and automation.
• Experience with Radar, Electronic Warfare / EMSO, MILCOM, and Satellite Communications.
• Ability to define measurement setups and test strategies aligned to operational use cases.
• Hands-on experience architecting and deploying test & measurement solutions.
