DuPont is currently hiring an experience Site Activity Coordinator to join our Edina, MN site.
Shift Schedule:
Total time per week: 40 Hours
Fri: 4 PM to 12 AM
Sat: 10 AM to 10 PM
Sun: 10 AM to 10 PM
Mon: 4 PM to 12 AM
Pay Range:
$39.52 - $47.84
The Site Activity Coordinator provides independent, on‑shift leadership to coordinate operational activities across the site. This role partners closely with supervisors and plant teams to ensure work is prioritized, resources are aligned to business needs, and issues impacting safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and productivity are addressed in a timely manner. The role covers site supervision during weekends (see schedule below) and supports consistent execution of site priorities.
Key Responsibilities include:
Coordinate and manage product and raw material queues across the plant, including material movement between buildings.
Partner with supervisors to adjust and reallocate labor resources across plant areas to meet daily operational needs.
Support planning and scheduling adjustments to ensure optimal workflow and execution of production priorities.
Conduct on‑shift rotations across plant areas to monitor progress, identify issues, and escalate concerns as needed.
Identify, quarantine, and escalate product quality issues in alignment with site quality processes.
Modify production orders when immediate safety or quality risks exist that cannot be immediately mitigated; escalate per site protocols.
Escalate maintenance work order needs in coordination with Lead Technicians and Maintenance teams.
Collaborate with EH&S Focal Points, Coordinators, and Lead Technicians to ensure safe work practices and adherence to employee case management requirements.
Support Incident Response Lead (IRL) during events.
Assist supervisors with conflict resolution and on‑shift issue management.
Act as backup for raw material ordering through the Just‑In‑Time (JIT) system.
Lead and facilitate Continuous Improvement (CI) activities across the site.
Direct and communicate operational priorities to plant teams during the shift.
Coordinate with the Schedule Executioner and on‑call engineering resources for required production schedule changes.
Serve as an on‑shift liaison to Manufacturing Technology and R&D, in partnership with the Supervisor, as needed, for non-standard builds.
Provide coverage for the Site Production Coordinator as required.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Requirements:
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent is required, a Technical or Associate’s degree is preferred
5+ years of experience participating in coordination activities in a manufacturing environment is required
Reporting Relationship:
Reports to the Site Continuous Improvement Leader.
