You’ll take a proactive approach to managing work orders across multiple projects, spotting potential risks early and keeping service delivery on track to meet key commitments. Working closely with a wide range of stakeholders, you’ll play a vital role in driving performance, solving problems in real time, and ensuring the business consistently delivers at its best.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Lead real-time incident response, including analysis, investigation, and end-to-end management of faults and risks.
  • Resolve customer escalations and complaints in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate response activities with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders.
  • Manage attendance requests, short-notice absences, and operational jeopardy to minimise service disruption.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with field teams and client representatives.
  • Monitor performance against KPIs and SLAs, ensuring compliance with operational processes and procedures.
  • Ensure accurate, real-time work logging to support transparency and reporting.
  • Support training, development, and effective use of operational systems and tools.
  • Contribute to procedure development, post-incident reviews, and contingency planning.
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performance team culture and support change initiatives.
  • Provide guidance and support to less experienced Dispatch Operators.

 

About You:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to engage, influence, and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels (internal and external).
  • Strong track record of achieving goals and delivering results within tight timeframes.
  • Advanced computer proficiency, particularly in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to contribute to and promote a collaborative team environment through open and transparent communication.
  • Experience in operations and maintenance within a technical service centre or utility industry is highly desirable.
