Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst with deep domain expertise in laboratory and imaging workflows to join our dynamic team. This role will be instrumental in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions, leveraging tools like Jira, Confluence, and Lucidchart to drive clarity, alignment, and execution across cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Requirements Gathering & Analysis:
• Collaborate with stakeholders across labs, imaging, and IT to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements.
• Translate complex clinical and operational workflows into clear, actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Workflow & Process Design:
• Use Lucidchart to create detailed diagrams, workflows, and visual models that support business understanding and technical implementation.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation within labs and imaging operations.
• Project & Product Support:
• Manage and refine backlogs in Jira, ensuring alignment with business priorities and technical feasibility.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation in Confluence, including business cases, process maps, and decision logs.
• Stakeholder Engagement:
• Serve as a liaison between business units, development teams, and QA to ensure solutions meet business needs.
• Facilitate workshops, demos, and feedback sessions to validate requirements and drive adoption.
• Data & Systems Integration:
• Work closely with data engineers and architects to support integration of lab and imaging systems within the AWS cloud ecosystem.
• Ensure compliance with data governance, privacy, and security standards.

Qualifications:

• Education & Experience:
• Bachelors degree in Business, Healthcare Informatics, Computer Science, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 2 years in labs/imaging or healthcare IT.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, and Lucidchart.
• Familiarity with AWS services and cloud-based architecture.
• Strong understanding of HL7, DICOM, PACS, LIS, and RIS systems is a plus.
• Soft Skills:
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
