We need a detail-oriented SAP Payroll testing expert who can ensure payroll accuracy, compliance, and smooth system transitions across India and Japan.

Overview
Were seeking a Payroll Test Analyst, focused on payroll system separation and testing for Japan and India. This role will work within an SAP Payroll environment to validate payroll accuracy, compliance, and end-to-end functionality.

Key Responsibilities

• Author and execute detailed test scenarios, scripts, and test cases for payroll processing
• Validate payroll results across Japan and India in alignment with local statutory requirements
• Collaborate with vendors to support creation of new legal entities and parallel payroll runs
• Translate country-specific payroll requirements into functional test conditions
• Partner with HR, Finance, and IT to validate integrations (HRIS, GL, banking, etc.)
• Identify, log, and drive resolution of payroll defects and discrepancies
• Support UAT cycles, data validation, and reconciliation activities
• Ensure compliance with local payroll laws, tax regulations, and statutory reporting

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience with SAP Payroll
• Deep knowledge of payroll regulations in Japan and/or India
• Proven experience in payroll testing (scenario creation, execution, defect management)
• Understanding of payroll integrations (HR, Time, Finance)
• Strong analytical and data validation skills.
