Among the solutions for corporate clients, the Enterprise Solutions Business Division offers "Rakuten Connect SmaCom," a cloud-based contact center system.

"Rakuten Connect SmaCom" is a cloud service that allows users to make and receive company calls from anywhere—the office, home, or remote work environments—as long as they have internet access and a PC.

It offers various functions required for contact centers, and also caters to the need for cloud-based traditional business phones by providing licenses tailored to usage.

With no need to purchase equipment like servers, it boasts zero initial costs and a 24/7 support system, ensuring reliable carrier-grade quality.

This recruitment is for a consulting sales staff position primarily focused on "Rakuten Connect SmaCom." A key appeal of this role is the ability to conduct comprehensive, long-term consulting sales activities to solve customer management challenges by combining various IT solutions handled by the Rakuten Group and Rakuten Mobile. Within this department, it's also possible to offer and propose various services such as "Rakuten Connect Storm," an enterprise-grade cloud solution, and SMS services, all tailored to customer needs. It's a vibrant workplace where staff of all ages, from veterans to young professionals, actively contribute.

Recruitment Background:

To further expand and promote our business, we are seeking individuals who can lead the sales team and immediately contribute as key players.

You can acquire highly specialized and in-demand skills by engaging in new client acquisition and upselling to existing customers of corporate businesses facing challenges in telephone DX (Digital Transformation).

Job Responsibilities:

We are looking for a sales representative for "Rakuten Connect SmaCom." You will be responsible for making proposals in response to inquiries and document requests generated from various advertising media such as web, social media, TV commercials, and flyers.

Clients: All companies that use telephones for business.

Sales Channels: Direct sales, sales agencies, referrals from within the Rakuten Group. (No cold calling or door-to-door sales).

Negotiation Methods: Web conferences (60%), On-site visits (40%).

Specific Proposal Content: Understand the current telephone system, clarify customer challenges, and motivations for changes or implementation, then propose the optimal solution. Additionally, identify not only customer needs but also their wants, create new business opportunities, and propose upselling and cross-selling.

Work Environment:

The organization is categorized by the services it handles, and the department is structured into three groups. Each group is a small organization of 4 to 10 members, fostering a culture that prioritizes on-site and customer support. It's an open organization with a flat communication style, primarily composed of young to mid-career professionals in their 20s to 40s, where opinions can be frankly exchanged. Members from various generations and backgrounds, both new graduates and mid-career hires, are actively contributing.

Required Skills:

3+ years of experience in corporate sales.

Experience in IT solution sales (B2B, problem-solving proposals).

Preferred Skills:

Experience in proposing intangible IT-related products or services.

Experience in telecommunications (fixed-line/mobile).

Experience in marketing or advertising.

Experience in agency/partner sales.

Other:

Location: Tokyo (Futako-Tamagawa Rise Office)

English Requirement:

TOEIC score of 800 or higher (or proof of equivalent English proficiency, such as a degree from a university in an English-speaking country). Proof of qualification is required by the time of the offer. If you do not have a score or certificate, we will arrange for a company-sponsored TOEIC IP test during the selection process.
