Position Details

Our business is to develop and operate data platforms to support business decisions. A robust and flexible data platform is essential to leveraging and analyzing data and promoting cross-use between various services.
We are developing an analysis ecosystem based on DWH (Teradata) that can accumulate and process large-scale data and Hadoop data lake, and we are developing data input pipelines and real-time data processing using various OSS. We also automate various operations, develop data marts that allow users (analysts) to perform analysis tasks more easily, and provide user applications such as BI.

There are only a limited number of companies that can handle "large-scale data" and there are few published examples, so it is sometimes necessary to try out new technologies by groping. Working with product managers and development engineers from other organizations, we respond to the demands of analysis users. We will develop a system that can meet your needs.

Furthermore, it is an important role to keep the products we have developed operating stably. Sometimes it is necessary to recover linked data related to mission-critical systems and develop defensive measures to prevent recurrence.

We are looking for people who want to acquire both offensive and defensive engineering skills through the development and operation of data analysis platforms.

Mandatory Qualifications:

- Experience with Linux, Shell, SQL

- Communication skills (experience working with members with different skills, cultures, nationalities, etc.)

- Those who can think and act independently for the success of the team

Desired Qualifications:

- Development and operation experience of distributed data processing systems, batch management systems, and data synchronization processing systems

- Experience with BI tools, etc.

- Experience working in a team with other engineers as a technical leader

- Experience using the following technologies:

*Technologies used in current systems

Teradata, BigQuery, Hadoop, Hive, Kafka, Presto, Java, shell, git, etc.
