In This Role
- Serve as the first point of contact for associates regarding operational questions, task clarification, and SOP guidance
- Support workflow continuity by helping resolve minor process and operational challenges
- Receive and offload inbound returned items in accordance with company SOPs
- Inspect and document returned materials as required
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized receiving area, including post-unload cleanup
- Accurately put away inventory into designated storage locations based on grading and product categorization
- Follow all scanning, labeling, and documentation standards
- Maintain organization and cleanliness throughout the putaway process
- Manage inventory within the Returns department using proper scanning and tracking procedures
- Perform cycle counts, audits, and inventory updates to ensure accuracy
- Assist in identifying and resolving inventory discrepancies
- Pick, stage, and load Outlet and Donation outbound orders following required SOPs and documentation
- Ensure products are handled with care and staged correctly for pickup or transfer
- Clean and reset work areas after outbound operations
- Sort recyclable materials by type (plastic, metal, wood, foam, etc.) and remove contaminants or hazardous items
- Operate recycling equipment such as balers, compactors, shredders, grinders, and forklifts (if trained)
- Maintain recycling work areas using 5S standards and assist with basic equipment upkeep
- Other duties as assigned, in accordance with training and qualifications

The Ideal Person
- 1+ year of warehouse or distribution center experience
- High school diploma or GED required
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with warehouse systems or scanners
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and move larger items with assistance
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
- Willingness to operate warehouse equipment (training provided)
- Commitment to safety and following established procedures
- Steel-toed boots or shoes are required during work hours
