Immigration VA
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Immigration Virtual Assistant who can hit the ground running with minimal supervision.
This role is not entry-level — you must already have hands-on experience completing U.S. immigration forms and working with supporting documentation.
You will support a busy immigration law office by handling the most time-consuming backend work, allowing the in-office team to focus on client interaction.
Key Responsibilities
Immigration Forms (CORE)

Complete U.S. immigration forms accurately and independently:

N-400 (Citizenship)
-
I-130 (Family Petition)
-
I-485 (Green Card)
-
I-601A (Waiver)
-

Review client intake information and input into systems
-
Ensure all data is correct, complete, and consistent across forms
Document Management
-
Review and organize client documents (passports, tax docs, etc.)
-
Identify missing documents and follow up with clients
-
Extract key information (e.g. passport numbers, travel history, I-94)
-
Work within Google Drive to manage files
Client Communication (Light)
-
Send simple follow-ups (mostly written)
-
Request missing documents
-
Clarify unclear information
-
-
Use Spanish when needed (or tools like Google Translate if required)
Translation Support
-
Translate forms and documents into Spanish
-
Assist with bilingual communication where necessary
Tools & Systems

Google Drive / Docs

Immigration software (any of the below is a plus):

Requirements (NON-NEGOTIABLE)

3–4+ years experience in U.S. immigration work

Proven experience completing immigration forms (not just reviewing)

Strong understanding of:

USCIS processes
-
Immigration documentation
-

Ability to work independently without constant questions
-
Strong attention to detail
Nice to Have

Spanish (preferred but not always required)

Experience with immigration software

Experience working remotely
Hours & Flexibility

Starting at 10 hours/week

Flexible schedule (task-based)

Must meet deadlines (e.g. forms completed within 1–2 days)
