Job description
Roles and Responsibilities

• Handle patient admission, orientation, and ward/room allocation

• Monitor and record vital signs (BP, pulse, temperature)

• Assist doctors and consultants during rounds and procedures

• Administer injections, IV fluids, and medications as prescribed

• Prepare and shift patients for OT and provide post-procedure care

• Educate patients and relatives about treatment and procedures

• Conduct regular patient rounds and maintain nursing records

• Manage discharge process (reports, medicines, instructions)

• Follow infection control, hygiene, and medical waste protocols

• Maintain drug stock and check expiry regularly

• Adhere to hospital policies and management instructions
