Role & responsibilities

ICN :

To prevent susceptible patients acquiring pathogenic (disease-causing) micro-organisms.

To limit the spread of antimicrobial resistant infections.

Ensure IC best practices are implemented, and the hospital is fully IC compliant.

Conducts audits as per schedule to ensure compliance.

Core team - IC meetings.

Educates IC Practices to all stakeholders.

Lead role in employee vaccination against infectious disease

Educator :

#1. Responsible for design, delivery & evaluation of academic & continuing education programs.

#2. Ensure standards of Nursing protocol are strictly maintained through robust training, evaluating and monitoring of performance.

#3. Assist with implementation and maintenance of standardized clinical protocols, participate in clinical Committees.
