Base rate per hour $45.34
Continental 12-hour shifts
Job Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues, implementing effective solutions.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and electrical codes.
- Collaborate with other maintenance and engineering team members to optimize production processes.
- Maintain accurate records of all electrical work performed.
- Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and perform scheduled maintenance repairs during machine service.
Qualifications:
- Red Seal Occupational Standard Industrial Electrician Certification required.
- Valid Ontario Class G Driver’s license (or equivalent).
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as an electrician, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, hand tools, and industrial equipment.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, and work in confined spaces for extended periods.
- Ability to work at heights and in various environmental conditions.
