Corporate Legal Representative
Role & responsibilities
Job Summary:
The Corporate Legal Representative is responsible for managing the companys legal matters, ensuring B2B digital compliance with applicable laws, handling contracts, representing the organization in legal proceedings, and minimizing legal risks. The role acts as a bridge between the business and legal requirements to support smooth corporate operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Legal Compliance & Advisory
- Ensure compliance with corporate laws, regulatory frameworks, and statutory requirements.
- Advise management on legal risks, business strategies, and regulatory changes.
- Draft and implement internal legal policies and SOPs.
Contracts & Documentation
- Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize contracts, including:
- Vendor agreements
- Client agreements
- NDAs
- MoUs
- Service agreements
- Employment contracts
- Maintain proper documentation and contract records.
Corporate Governance
- Handle corporate secretarial matters such as:
- Board resolutions
- Shareholder agreements
- Statutory filings
- ROC compliances (if applicable)
- Ensure proper governance practices are followed.
Litigation & Dispute Management
- Coordinate with external lawyers and law firms.
- Manage legal notices, replies, and case documentation.
- Represent the company before courts, tribunals, or authorities when required.
- Monitor ongoing litigation and provide regular status updates.
Regulatory & Risk Management
- Identify potential legal risks and suggest preventive actions.
- Ensure compliance with labour laws, commercial laws, IP laws, and data protection regulations, such as the DPDP Act.
- Handle legal audits and regulatory inspections.
Intellectual Property
- Manage trademarks, copyrights, patents, and other IP assets.
- Handle infringement issues and brand protection strategies.
Stakeholder Coordination
- Work closely with HR, Finance, Compliance, and Business teams.
- Act as a legal point of contact for government authorities, regulators, and partners.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Law (LLB); LLM preferred.
- 3–8 years of experience in corporate legal, compliance, or litigation (as per role level).

- Regulatory compliances (India-specific, if applicable)
