To build its portfolio of work in the girl capital domain at the statelevel, IPE Global is hiring Communications and Campaign Expert(s) to design andlead a dynamic state-level campaign to increase female participation in paidjobs. The expert will drive strategic communications that challenge gendernorms, inspire action, and strengthen the visibility of womens economiccontributions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and delivery of comprehensive state-level campaignsto promote young womens participation in the workforce, addressing socialnorms, building awareness of aspirational job roles, and associated skilling opportunitiesavailable to them.
  • Create customisable templates for adoption at the district level,ensuring consistent branding and messaging across all platforms and materials.
  • Create compelling and emotionally resonant campaign narratives to promotewomens participation in skilling and jobs in collaboration with various departments.
  • Collaborate with government stakeholders, implementation partners,and the national team to ensure campaigns align with project goals and resonatewith diverse audiences.
  • Build partnerships with influencers, media outlets, and othercollaborators to build public support and maximise outreach for the campaigns.
  • Organise state-wide events to launch campaigns.
  • Conduct and monitor post-campaign evaluations, including dataanalysis, stakeholder feedback, and impact assessment reports, to identifyareas of improvement, trends, gaps, and opportunities.

Qualification Experience

Educational Background

Masters degree or higher in Communications, Marketing, PublicRelations, Public Policy, Development Studies, or a related field.

Work Experience:

  • At least 10 years of progressive experience in strategic communications, public campaigns, or advocacy, ideally with a gender equity ordevelopment focus.
  • Proven expertise in leading multimedia campaigns that drive socialand behaviour change, particularly in complex cultural contexts.
  • Strong experience in building coalitions with government stakeholders, community-based organizations, and private partners.

Technical Expertise:

  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills to designpersuasive campaigns in collaboration with diverse stakeholders, includinggovernment, industry, and NGOs.
  • Deep understanding of power dynamics and gender norms that impactfemale labour force participation in India.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate research and evidence intopowerful, action-oriented messages.

Key Skills and Competencies

  • Strategic Communication and language proficiency : Ability to frameand deliver persuasive messages that foster inclusion, challenge bias, andshift social narratives in the local language of the state (Marathi/ Tamil)
  • Cultural Competency : Sensitive to local languages, dialects, andgendered norms, especially across rural and urban parts of the respectiveStates.
  • Innovation and Creativity : Brings fresh thinking to campaigndevelopment and adapts to emerging media and youth engagement trends.
  • Collaborative Leadership : Skilled in navigating cross-sectoral relationships with humility, purpose, and equity.
