Business & Technical Analyst – Payment Terminals

We are looking for a Business & Technical Analyst to join our Product team and help shape the next generation of payment solutions.

In this role, you will translate client and business needs into clear, business‑focused product requirements, supporting both our Nucleus payment solution on Android terminals and our TMS (Terminal Management System) built on a modern microservices architecture and used directly by clients and partners.

You will contribute to a product that is already live across continental Europe and is expanding this year into the UK & Ireland, Asia‑Pacific, and additional global markets - offering exposure to truly international product delivery.

This role acts as an “umbrella” across the payment ecosystem, helping the Product team understand impacts from onboarding through operations, customer support, etc. while working closely with development‑side analysts who own detailed functional specifications.

A key advantage is close, day‑to‑day collaboration: Product, development, and most supporting departments are located in the same building, enabling fast learning, quick alignment, and highly effective delivery.

What You’ll Work On

  • Nucleus – a modern, Android‑based payment solution, currently deployed across continental Europe and expanding internationally
  • TMS (Terminal Management System) – a scalable, microservices‑based system providing also direct access to clients and partners

Your Responsibilities

  • Define client requirements and transform them into product‑level requirements, in cooperation with Product Managers
  • Provide business context, scope, and impact analysis to development teams, help identify cross‑team impacts of product or requirement changes early
  • Work closely with development‑side analysts, who own detailed functional and technical specifications
  • Prepare product briefs and analytical inputs for Product Managers, build an understanding of the end‑to‑end payment environment
  • Support initiatives related to Android terminals, APIs and integrations from a business perspective
  • Create and maintain business‑oriented documentation and user guides
  • Participate in client and partner workshops to clarify use cases and expectations

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience as a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, or similar role, ideally in fintech, payments, or complex B2B platforms
  • Strong business analysis skills with the ability to see end‑to‑end impacts, not just isolated features
  • Experience with client and product requirement definition
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and development‑focused analysts
  • Technical literacy (APIs, integrations, microservices; Android knowledge is a plus)
  • Experience creating business‑focused documentation and user guides for external users
  • Great communication skills in English.
  • Clear communicator, structured thinker, and comfortable working across many teams

Why This Role Is Special

  • True end‑to‑end visibility across the payment ecosystem
  • Clear split of responsibilities: this role focuses on the product’s business aspects, while development teams handle the functional and technical depth.
  • Opportunity to become a connecting point across Product, Tech, Operations and Support teams.
  • Fast learning and impact thanks to co‑located teams and direct access to experts

What we prepared for you:

  • 10% annual bonus
  • 5 weeks of holiday
  • 5 additional days off, meal tickets - fully paid by the employer (129,-CZK/per worked day)
