Associate Manager
Role & responsibilities
- Customer Acquisition (CASA): Proactively acquire new Current Account (CA) and Savings Account (SA) customers through cold calling, market field visits, and local networking.
- Sales Target Achievement: Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual acquisition targets set by the bank.
- Relationship Management: Develop relationships with local merchants, SMEs, and high-net-worth individuals (HNIs).
- Cross-Selling: Promote additional bank products, including digital banking solutions, credit cards, insurance, and fixed deposits.
- Quality Sourcing & Compliance: Ensure compliance with KYC (Know Your Customer) guidelines and internal policies, focusing on quality onboarding to minimize future risks.
- Catchment Mapping: Assist the senior sales manager in scoping the area, analyzing competitor activity, and identifying potential business opportunities.
- Account Activation: Ensure acquired accounts are funded and activated on digital channels immediately.
Preferred candidate profile
- Experience: 0-5 years in banking sales, field sales, or financial services.
- Education: Graduate in any discipline.
- Skills: Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and negotiation skills.
- Profile: Must be willing to work in a field-based (outdoor) sales role.
- Age Limit: Generally up to 30 years for these roles.
