Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Arabic-English Language Expert to join our QA team for the Arabic site. The role involves proofreading and validating Arabic content aligned with English content, along with supporting quality assurance activities including automation and functional testing.

This role is ideal for candidates who combine strong language proficiency with an interest in software testing and quality processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Proofread and validate Arabic content aligned with English content on the platform.
• Ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency of translated materials as implemented on the site.
• Perform functional validation of Arabic site features.
• Support QA activities including test case execution and defect reporting.
• Assist in automation testing activities under guidance.
• Validate API responses using tools such as Postman.
• Work closely with QA, Product, and Development teams in an Agile environment.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.

Technical & QA Requirements (Basic Knowledge Required)

• Understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Good knowledge of manual testing concepts and defect lifecycle.
• Exposure to automation testing tools such as:
• Playwright
• Selenium
• Basic understanding of Java programming.
• Basic knowledge of API testing using Postman.
• Awareness of AI-driven testing concepts (preferred).
• Experience or exposure to working in an Agile/Scrum environment.

(Note: Advanced automation expertise is not required, but foundational understanding is expected.)

Language & Core Requirements

• Fluency in Arabic and English (written and verbal).
• Strong Arabic grammar knowledge.
• Proven experience in Arabic-English translation or proofreading.
• Must be able to type fluently in Arabic and English.
• Excellent proofreading skills with strong attention to detail.
• Cultural sensitivity and contextual accuracy in translations.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office tools.

Educational Qualification

• B.A. Degree in Arabic (Hons) from a reputed university. (Good to have)
• At least 1 year of experience in a corporate environment.
