Technical Operations Manager – API Integrations

We’re looking for a Technical Operations Manager (Remote) – API Integrations to lead the acquisition and management of API integrations with U.S. state agencies (DMV/BMV/DPS).This is a high-impact role focused on unlocking access to government data systems and building scalable integrations across all states.You will own the full integration lifecycle from identifying APIs and securing access to ensuring compliance and ongoing system reliability.What You’ll DoAPI Integrations & Access (Core Focus)Identify APIs, data feeds, and integration methods across statesDetermine access types (REST, SOAP, SFTP, portals, third-party providers)Contact agencies to validate access and onboarding requirementsBuild and maintain a structured database of integrationsIntegration OwnershipOwn the full lifecycle: discovery → outreach → application → approvalSecure API credentials, sandbox access, and production approvalsCoordinate technical onboarding (IP whitelisting, credentials, etc.)Agency CommunicationAct as the main point of contact for state agenciesCommunicate on both operational and basic technical topicsDrive consistent follow-ups to move integrations forwardCompliance & DocumentationManage applications and compliance documentation (DPPA, security, etc.)Ensure all records are accurate and audit-readySupport audits and regulatory requirementsWhat We’re Looking ForExperience with APIs, integrations, or technical onboardingStrong organization and ability to manage multiple workflowsComfortable working with government systems or compliance processesStrong communication skills (technical + non-technical)Highly persistent and detail-orientedSuccess in This Role Looks LikeAPI integrations secured and activated across multiple statesConsistent onboarding progress with no delaysStrong relationships with agency contactsFully compliant, audit-ready documentationWhy Join Us?Fully remoteWork directly with U.S. government systemsHigh-impact role in a fast-growing companyOpportunity to build expertise in integrations + compliance
