Job Title: Surveyor – Valuation & Advisory (Student Accommodation)

Location: London

Role Overview

An opportunity to join Cushman & Wakefield’s Valuation & Advisory team, focusing on the student accommodation (PBSA) sector. The role involves delivering high-quality valuations and strategic advice to a range of clients including investors, developers, and lenders.

Key Responsibilities

• Undertake valuations of student accommodation assets in line with Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors standards
• Prepare concise valuation reports for loan security, financial reporting, and transactions
• Analyse market trends including rental levels, occupancy, and supply/demand
• Conduct site inspections and due diligence
• Build financial models (e.g. DCF) and support advisory mandates
• Develop client relationships and contribute to business development

Key Requirements

• Degree in Real Estate or related discipline
• Working towards or recently qualified MRICS
• Experience in valuation or student accommodation preferred
• Strong analytical, Excel, and report writing skills
• Good understanding of the UK PBSA market
