Strategic Partnerships - Jewellers & Gold Redemption
Role Overview
We are looking for a senior, externally-facing executive professional to build, scale, and manage jeweler
partnerships for Paytm Gold, with a specific focus on enabling digital gold redemption at jewellery outlets.
This role owns end-to-end jeweller relationships—from onboarding and commercial structuring to operational
rollout and ongoing partner success. The role requires deep jewellery industry experience, strong stakeholder
management, and the ability to work across legal, product, operations, and compliance teams to build scalable
partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
• Own and manage strategic relationships with regional and national jewellery partners
• Identify, onboard, and scale jeweller partners for Paytm Gold redemption
• Act as the primary relationship owner for senior leadership at partner organisations
• Drive end-to-end enablement of Paytm Gold redemption at jeweller outlets
• Define redemption flows covering commercials, operations, settlements, reconciliation, and customer
experience
• Lead partnership discussions on commercials, incentives, revenue sharing, and operational SLAs
• Work closely with legal and compliance teams to structure regulatorily sound partnership agreements
• Act as the bridge between jewellers and internal teams including product, operations, finance, risk, and
compliance
• Manage escalations and resolve partner issues efficiently
• Set up governance mechanisms for partner performance and periodic reviews
• Build and own MIS dashboards tracking redemption volumes, partner-wise performance, and operational
metrics
• Track jewellery industry trends, competitor models, and regulatory developments and share insights with
leadership
Candidate Profile
Experience
• 10–16 years of experience (flexible for the right candidate)
• Mandatory prior experience working with jewellers, jewellery retail chains, bullion firms, or gold trading
businesses
• Proven experience in partnerships, alliances, or business development roles with large offline partners
Skills & Competencies
• Strong stakeholder management skills with CXO-level external partners
• Excellent negotiation and commercial structuring capabilities
• High comfort working with legal, compliance, and operations teams
• Strong Excel and MIS-driven operating discipline
• Ability to operate effectively in regulated and ambiguous environments
