Software Development Engineer

Job Title Software Development Engineer Purpose of the role Develop, maintain, and support efficient, reliable, and maintainable airline software applications. The Software Development Engineer will be responsible for coding, testing, releasing, supporting, and troubleshooting solutions based off the Web and/or Mobile App Software Development Kits (SDKs) within the Navitaire Digital Platform and solutions based off the Navitaire Kiosk SDK. In this role you'll: Share knowledge on relevant technologies and adhere to coding and implementation standards Collaborate with scrum team on team priorities Participate in operational rotation and address production issues promptly Keep training materials up to date and support the development of new functional and technical experts on the team Develop and enhance own capabilities and demonstrate flexibility to meet goals Provide functional expertise on assigned Navitaire airline system or sub-system Analyze product backlog items, propose solutions, code, and automate testing of optimized solutions, and conduct peer reviews About the ideal candidate: BS in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Data Science, or equivalent experience 2+ years of professional programming experience in C#, .NET, and SQL 1+ years recognized as a subject matter expert of enterprise-level systems or sub-systems, working on coding, design, and production support 1+ years of experience working in an agile setting Airline industry knowledge is beneficial Excellent English verbal and written communication skills Open to work in a hybrid set-up Good analytical skills Ability to work in an engaging and diverse environment Collaborative, proactive, and motivated individual Baseline: C# and .NET .NET Core HTML 5 CSS Angular TypeScript REST API NPM .NET MAUI Serverless functions (preferably) Azure Functions.
