SM / AVP - Finance Operations

We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented professional for the role of Senior Manager / AVP Finance Operations. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth functioning of finance operations while driving process excellence and generating actionable business insights. The individual will work closely with business leadership and cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.


Role & responsibilities

  • Finance Operations Management
    • Oversee end-to-end finance operations processes including payments, outstanding receivables, MESH, sales incentives, TDS, and related activities.
    • Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance in all financial transactions and processes.
  • Reporting & Governance
    • Own and manage comprehensive reporting across all finance operations areas.
    • Develop dashboards and MIS reports for tracking operational and financial metrics.
  • Process Improvement & Insights
    • Analyze existing processes to identify inefficiencies, risks, and opportunities for optimization.
    • Generate data-driven insights to support business decision-making.
    • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and automation efforts.
  • Stakeholder Management
    • Collaborate extensively with business leadership and CHO-level stakeholders.
    • Act as a finance partner to business teams, providing clarity and support on financial matters.
  • Team Leadership
    • Lead, mentor, and manage a team to ensure high performance and operational excellence.
  • Volume & Scale Management
    • Handle large volumes of transactions in a rapidly growing business environment.
    • Ensure scalability and robustness of processes as the business expands.
  • Communication & Presentation
    • Prepare and present insights, reports, and recommendations to senior leadership.
    • Simplify complex financial data into clear and actionable narratives.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • CA or MBA (Finance) from a reputed institution.
  • 5-8 years of relevant experience in Finance Operations, Controllership, or related domains.
  • Strong understanding of financial processes including payments, receivables, TDS, and incentive structures.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven experience in stakeholder management, especially with senior leadership.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • High proficiency in MS Excel; familiarity with ERP systems and BI tools is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced, and evolving business environment.
