What you’ll do

As Product Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the market success of TELUS Cybersecurity by monitoring trends in the cyber security services market, capturing the voice of our customers and developing compelling offerings for our customers. This includes:

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including consultants, sales, and marketing, to drive the product strategy and roadmaps for new and existing services
  • Conducting research and analysis to identify market trends, competitive landscape and opportunities for product innovation
  • Monitoring product performance and KPIs, analyze data to make informed decisions and iterate on product features based on feedback
  • Partnering with the Marketing and Commercialization teams to develop pricing strategies, go-to-market plans, sales training and marketing collateral to promote Cybersecurity services
  • Developing a deep understanding of emerging global Cybersecurity trends and technologies by leveraging competitive landscape research, gathering voice of the customer data and analyzing market reports to create winning business cases
  • Taking a lead role in cross-functional teams to translate new product ideas and strategies into successful offerings and business opportunities for our customers

Qualifications

What you bring

You are likely in a similar product role today, with many of the following abilities and experience points:

  • Proven 5+ years as a Product Manager in a technology focused offering, or equivalent experience
  • You are valued for your visionary approach, leadership and communication skills
  • You bring professional collaboration skills, with a demonstrated ability to work in a highly matrixed organization
  • You are known for strong analytics and problem-solving, with the ability to interpret data and market insights to make strategic product decisions
  • You have experience with building solid financial models and compelling business cases
  • As a noted communicator and presenter, you articulate complex ideas and influence stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • You have a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field

Great-to-haves

We are especially motivated to connect with individuals with the following great to haves:

  • An ever updated understanding of existing Cybersecurity technologies and offers, including SSE, MDR solutions, Cloud-based security, security risk management, information event management (SIEM), and other similar security technologies
  • Cybersecurity accreditations such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP or similar
  • Experience with Automation and AI
