Senior Media Manager (Sr. Digital Media Planner)

Job Summary
We are looking for an exceptionally awesome Senior Media Manager (Sr. Digital Media Planner) to help drive meaningful growth for our customers through direct-response digital media campaigns across channels, with a heavy focus on publisher-direct buys, content syndication, and other guaranteed lead/impression programs.
What you’ll be doing
Align client objectives and goals with paid media campaigns, Identify, RFP, and negotiate with a wide variety of paid media partners and publications across IT, health care, AI, Data, Infrastructure, Security, Media & Entertainment.
Coordination and oversight of million-dollar approved buys, including creation of IOs, negotiating terms, overseeing trafficking and coordination of creative/deliverables, and ongoing reporting and optimization of paid media buys. Configure and oversee content syndication campaigns via Integrate.
Develop ongoing testing strategies to drive growth, improve efficiency, and sustain operations.
Provide clear, actionable feedback, recommendations, and requests to clients, ensuring you have everything you need to set up campaigns on time and successfully.
Strategize and execute ROI-positive lead-generation tactics, particularly through content syndication, dedicated emails, newsletters, and other paid media sponsorships and guaranteed lead programs.
Collaborate with AdOps and Finance teams to track and manage paid media buys and reporting to ensure that paid media vendors are following the terms and conditions of insertion orders, and negotiate paid media added value where necessary
Be transparent and communicate key initiatives, optimizations, and ongoing performance to both ROI·DNA’s internal media team and directly to the client, working closely with the Strategy team.
Maintain the vendor database as the primary point of contact for all vendors (including the master contact list, meeting coordination, etc.)
Ongoing investigation & research of new media opportunities
Grow job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations

What you have
5+ years of experience in B2B media buying
3-5 years of experience in media planning or similar
Must have hands-on experience planning and buying content syndication and direct publisher programs
Agency experience is preferred but not required
Client-facing experience and digital marketing experience are a must
Account Based Marketing (ABM) experience is preferred
Prior experience working with various content syndication and publishers focused on the B2B market in IT, Security, Fintech, Marketing, Healthcare, and other tech vertical publishers
Prior experience planning and buying multifaceted programs (such as those that include an event sponsorship plus display banners plus promoted social posts) with publishers such as Forbes, eMarketer, NY Times, IDG, WSJ, SC Media, Financial Times, DarkReading, and similar publications is strongly preferred
Experience with B2B technology partners is strongly preferred
Hands-on experience with Integrate and/or Convertr is strongly preferred
Technically adept with a pulse on trends and innovations within the digital space
Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills, ability to find opportunities and insights from large amounts of unstructured data
Strong collaboration skills, able to work with multiple clients and departments to accomplish goals
Advanced knowledge of digital marketing channels and concepts
Superb time and project management skills
Excellent communication – both written and verbal
Adept at critical thinking to strengthen media initiatives for quality vs. entering a routine process for quantity

The anticipated salary range for this position is $95k to $115k per year. Salary is determined by skills, experience, qualifications, alignment with market data, and internal and external equity.
