Senior Manager, Logistics
Job Title
We are seeking a Senior Manager to join our Supply Chain team. You will be responsible for the overall performance of the assembly lines at our Lisbon factory, leading end‑to‑end activities across production planning, procurement, assembly, quality, and logistics.
You will guide production and demand plans, ensure delivery against time, cost, and quality targets set in the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP), and lead cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality, manufacturable solutions.
We are looking for relevant manufacturing leadership experience and a demonstrated ability to solve complex problems and drive continuous improvement.
Main responsibilities
Lead end‑to‑end supply chain execution: production planning, component procurement, assembly, quality control, logistics; ensure delivery to Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) targets.
Direct manufacturing and engineering teams in the assembly of electro‑mechanical devices; oversee the design of product‑specific manufacturing processes and equipment; optimize current designs and support ongoing projects.
Use Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (e.g., SAP) and Material Requirements Planning (MRP) to plan, schedule, and report on performance; coordinate implementation projects across procurement, production, quality, and logistics.
Apply project management methodologies to deliver on scope, schedule, and budget; Project Management Institute (PMI) certification (e.g., PMP) required.
Support product and process innovation: contribute to the design, test, modification, fabrication, and assembly of prototypes; conduct technical studies and Proof of Concept (PoC) evaluations; identify technological advancements and practices that may improve product or process performance.
About the ideal candidate
University degree or equivalent practical experience.
Demonstrated leadership in supply chain/manufacturing, including production planning, manufacturing processes, and regulatory compliance.
Experience leading teams and collaborating with cross‑functional stakeholders.
Hands‑on experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (e.g., SAP) knowledge of Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) is a plus.
Fluency in English.
