Position Summary

Role and Responsibilities

·        Manage daily operations and accounting functions of Finance and Accounts department to ensure smooth operation of the department.

·        Review and approval of expense submissions for certain business areas.

·        Review of refund of customer creation.

·        Month-end closing activities which include accruals and management fees calculation for the cost-share.

·        Enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles to ensure compliance to accounting standards and company policies.

·        Process inter-co billings and ad-hoc manual invoice/credit note.

·        Monthly collate and preparation of Financial Risk report to provide recommendations for improvements.

·        Review of monthly GST currency translation.

·        Perform other ad-hoc tasks assigned from time to time.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum Diploma/Degree in Accountancy or equivalent certification.
  • Possess a minimum 3-4 years’ experience in Accounting.
  • Proficient in SAP system and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong attention to details and meticulous with numbers / data.
  • Possess desire to problem solve, resourceful nature.
