Senior Elder Abuse AttorneyCareer Consulting Partners is partnered with a leading plaintiff’s personal injury law firm in Century City, which has seen tremendous growth in the last 18 months. We are assisting them with a key leadership hire in the form of a Senior Elder Abuse Attorney. The ideal candidate is a seasoned litigator with a strong background in plaintiff-side Elder Abuse cases and significant first-chair or second-chair trial experience. You will be stepping into a critical role where your expertise will not only drive results in high-stakes litigation but also help guide and elevate our legal team.Responsibilities:Manage a high-value caseload of plaintiff elder abuse and neglect cases from inception through trial.Conduct all phases of civil litigation, including drafting pleadings, propounding and responding to discovery, taking and defending depositions, and arguing motions.Lead trial preparation and serve as lead or co-counsel in jury trials, arbitrations, and mediations.Provide leadership, mentorship, and strategic direction to junior attorneys and support staff.Negotiate maximum settlements on behalf of vulnerable clients and their families.Qualifications:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law schoolActive membership in good standing with the California State BarMinimum 5 years of litigation experience, preferably with elder abuse, medical negligence, or personal injuryStrong litigation background with the confidence to independently handle matters from inception through trialExceptional written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work effectively within a team-oriented work environmentWillingness and ability to travel throughout California for hearings, depositions, trials, and arbitrationsCompensation & Benefits:Salary Compensation: $200,000 - $250,000 + Bonus structure based on a percentage of each settled casePaid Time Off (PTO) & Sick Days: You’ll receive 10 paid days off annually401K PlanPaid HolidaysFull coverage for health, vision, and dental insurancePaid parkingPerformance & Growth: After your 90-day review, we conduct annual performance reviews to assess growth and provide feedbackLocation:Century City, California (90067)***Please note that we at Career Consulting Partners will be sure to keep your information private.
