Litigation Attorney

Career Consulting Partners has formed a partnership with a respected boutique firm in the San Fernando Valley. We are seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney to join the team. This is not a high-volume law firm. The firm maintains a focused caseload of approximately 100 active litigation matters, prioritizing quality over quantity. The owner is actively involved in every case and is seeking someone to share the litigation caseload in a fully collaborative partnership.

You’ll work side-by-side with the owner on strategy, preparation, and trial execution. The ideal candidate is a confident litigator in Personal Injury and Insurance Bad Faith with a passion for plaintiff advocacy. We are looking for a litigation attorney with approximately 4 - 10 years of experience who can hit the ground running. This role involves handling cases from inception through resolution, with minimal oversight.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a full litigation caseload (20 – 25) independently

• Handle all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motions, and trial preparation

• Litigate matters in both California state and federal courts

• Represent plaintiffs in personal injury and insurance bad faith matters

• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and insurance carriers

• Develop litigation strategy and drive cases toward resolution

• Focus 100% on litigated matters — no pre-litigation involvement

Qualifications:

• 4 - 10 years of Civil Litigation experience

• Strong background in personal injury and insurance bad faith

• State and federal court litigation experience

• Ability to step in without training or ramp-up support

• Excellent writing, analytical, and courtroom skills

• California Bar admission in good standing

Benefits & Compensation:

• Compensation may vary based on the level of remote flexibility: $150,000 - $210,000 plus bonus structure tied to results and performance
