Senior Automation Engineer

Main Responsibilities: • Oversee the technical and strategic supervision of maintenance activities for automation systems and infrastructure across the site. • Ensure optimal availability of all automated systems by guaranteeing their reliability, performance, and compliance. • Lead the overall management of automation infrastructure, including planning system updates and monitoring performance. • Maintain, optimize, and modify automation programs (PLCs, SCADA, DCS) in line with operational requirements. • Lead the development and integration of new automation projects: technical studies, design, programming, and commissioning. • Propose and drive initiatives for continuous improvement, energy optimization, and digitalization of automated processes. • Support and supervise field teams (electricians, mechanics, instrumentation technicians) in complex diagnostics and skills development. • Contribute to technology watch and the integration of innovative solutions in line with the site's industrial modernization strategy.
