Exploration Geologist

As an Exploration Geologist, you will be a key contributor to the execution of exploration work in the field. You will support geological teams to ensure the proper execution of exploration campaigns, in compliance with safety and quality standards. Main responsibilities: Supervision of field operations: Participate in organizing and monitoring exploration activities (mapping, sampling, trenching, drilling); Operational follow-up of activities: Ensure daily monitoring of fieldwork, verify its proper execution, and report any issues or constraints encountered; Drilling operations follow-up: Participate in monitoring drilling campaigns (site setup, progress tracking, sample recovery and management); Field data quality control: Verify the compliance, quality, and traceability of collected data before transmitting it to geological teams; Logistical support for campaigns: Assist in the preparation, organization, and provision of resources required for exploration activities; Application of HSE standards: Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental rules on site. Required skills: Good knowledge of mining exploration techniques (mapping, sampling, drilling); Strong organizational skills and rigor in monitoring operations; Knowledge of HSE regulations; Team spirit; Good adaptability and responsiveness. Education Experience: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Geology, Geosciences, or a related field; 1 to 3 years of experience in a similar role in mining exploration; Experience in a mining environment is an asset. Position based in the South-East region, requiring geographical mobility.
