Senior Assoc, AML / Fraud Innovation and Business Analyst, Group LCS
Role Purpose
This role supports the design, exploration, and translation of Agentic AI and GenAI concepts into practical use cases for AML and Surveillance operations. The analyst will work closely with senior stakeholders to research, prototype, structure, and articulate ideas that enhance operational efficiency, risk detection, and decisioning through emerging AI capabilities. This role focus on shaping the future operating model for AML Surveillance.
Key Responsibilities
Agentic AI & GenAI Enablement
- Support the identification, development, and documentation of Agentic AI and GenAI use cases for Surveillance operations.
- Translate conceptual ideas into structured problem statements, workflows, and operating models suitable for discussion with tech, ops, and Platform stakeholders.
- Assist in mapping and designing the future of Surveillance Ops through GenAI/Agentic AI
- Keep abreast of developments in Agentic AI frameworks, LLM orchestration, copilots, and automation patterns, and proactively propose applications to AML contexts.
Innovation & Experimentation
- Support proof‑of‑concepts, pilots, and experimentation initiatives (e.g. GenAI‑assisted reviews, agentic fund tracing, productivity tooling).
- Prepare materials (concept papers/ demo materials) for senior management, innovation forums, and working groups.
Stakeholder & Project Support
- Provide analytical and coordination support across multi‑stakeholder AI initiatives, including workshops, discussions, and follow‑ups.
- Track action items, decisions, and dependencies across Agentic AI initiatives.
- Support preparation of updates for leadership, governance forums, and roadmap discussions.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Core Requirements
- Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Analytics, or related fields.
- Strong interest and foundational knowledge in Agentic AI, GenAI, LLMs, and AI‑driven automation.
- Demonstrated innovation mindset – curiosity, structured thinking, and ability to connect ideas across domains.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to explain complex AI concepts clearly to non‑technical audiences.
- Comfortable working in ambiguity and early‑stage problem spaces.
Preferred
- Experience or exposure to AML, Financial Crime, Surveillance, Risk, or Compliance.
- Familiarity with concepts such as transaction monitoring, alert review, STRs, typologies, or operational risk.
- Hands‑on exposure to prompt engineering, agent frameworks, workflow orchestration tools, or AI experimentation platforms.
- Experience supporting innovation, transformation, or strategic initiatives in a large organization.
