Senior Analyst - Low Carbon Pathways
IPE Global is seeking a motivate d Senior Analyst - Low Carbon Pathways to strengthen and grow its Climate Change and Sustainability practice. The role will contribute to business development, program management, research, and technical delivery across climate mitigation, carbon markets, and energy transition. This position provides exceptional exposure to global climate policy, finance, and technology, working with a team of high-performing professionals and in collaboration with donors, foundations, research institutions, and public agencies.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Research Analysis (20%)
- Conduct data-driven research on mitigation strategies, carbon markets, and low-carbon technologies.
- Apply data analytics for monitoring, evaluation, and impact assessments.
- Develop frameworks, models, and tools to support climate mitigation projects.
- Track global and national climate policy and regulatory developments.
Business Development Proposal Writing (30%)
- Identify business opportunities and track climate-related tenders.
- Support proposal developmentdrafting technical/financial proposals, concept notes, and pitch decks.
- Build quality consortiums and partnerships by aligning capabilities with client needs.
- Contribute to strategy meetings and donor engagement processes.
Programme Management Communications (40%)
- Coordinate with project teams to ensure high-quality, timely deliverables.
- Support workplan preparation, stakeholder coordination, and knowledge product development.
- Draft reports, policy briefs, articles, and presentations on mitigation and low-carbon solutions.
- Organise capacity-building workshops, stakeholder consultations, and outreach activities.
- Develop communication strategies and collaterals to showcase IPE Globals work.
Practice Building Thought Leadership (10%)
- Support growth of the climate mitigation vertical through knowledge management and visibility initiatives.
- Publish blogs, articles, and thought pieces to position IPE Global as a leader in the climate mitigation space.
Qualifications Skills
- Masters in Climate Change, Environmental Studies, Economics, Public Policy, Energy, or Data Analytics.
- 3 to 5 years experience in consulting, research, or program implementation.
- Strong expertise in business development, proposal writing, and program management.
- Knowledge of climate mitigation, carbon markets, renewable energy, or low-carbon technologies.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); familiarity with Power BI, R, or Stata is desirable.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Prior experience with bilateral/multilateral donors and government projects is preferred.
