SAP TM Functional Tester

Letsdo this.Letschange the world. In this role, you willbe responsible forimplementing and executing functional testing activities for SAP Transportation Management (TM)as part of a largescale S/4HANA transformation program.

This is a Tshaped functional testing role, where SAP TM is the primary area of deep expertise, supported by working knowledge of endtoend business processes across R2R, OTC, PTS, and STP. You will ensure highquality delivery of integrated SAP solutions byvalidatingcrossprocess scenarios, integrations, and regression impacts during the S/4HANA journey.

The role involves close collaboration with business users, SAP functional teams, and technical teams, along with exposure totest automation initiatives and modern testing practices.

Roles Responsibilities

• Own and executefunctional testingfor SAP TM across S/4HANA implementation, conversion, and enhancement initiatives

• Develop and executetest strategies, test plans, test scenarios, and detailed test casesaligned to S/4HANA transformation milestones

• Validateendtoend SAP TM business processes, including planning, execution, charge calculation, and settlement

• Performcrossprocess integration testinginvolving:

• R2R (Record to Report) financial postings and settlement impacts from TM

• OTC (Order to Cash) sales, billing, andlogisticsexecution touchpoints

• PTS (Plan to Stock) planning and execution dependencies

• STP (Source to Pay) procurement andlogisticsintegration scenarios

• ExecuteSystem Testing, Integration Testing, Regression Testing, and UAT supportin S/4HANA environments

• Ensure effective validation ofSAP TM integrationswith other SAP and nonSAP systems

• Identify, log, track, and retest defects using standarddefect management tools

• Collaborate withSAP Functional Consultants, Developers, and Business stakeholdersto clarify requirements and resolve defects

• SupportUAT planning and execution, including defect triage and business user coordination

• Identifysuitable candidates fortest automationand work with automation teams and frameworks

• Prepare and publishtest execution reports, defect metrics, and quality status updates

• Ensure adherence totesting standards, governance, and best practicesacross the program

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field

• 5 to 8 years of experience inSAP Functional Testing / ERP Testingroles

• Strong handson experience as aFunctional Testerin SAP landscapes

• Deepexpertisein SAP TM (Transportation Management), with clear understanding of:

• Freight Order Management

• Planning Execution

• Charge Calculation

• Settlement

• TM Master Data

• Working knowledge of endtoend business processes across R2R, OTC, PTS, and STP, with focus on integration and testing impact

• Experience testingS/4HANA transformations, including conversion, simplification impacts, and regression scope

• Strong understanding oftesting methodologies and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)

• Experience defining and executingtest strategies for large SAP ERP programs

• Good understanding oflogistics, transportation, and supply chain business processes

• Handson experience withdefect tracking and test management tools(e.g., ALM, JIRA, SAP Solution Manager)

Good to Have Skills

• Knowledge of related SAP modules such asSD, MM, FI, CO,or EWM(process awareness level)

• Exposure totest automation tools and frameworks(e.g.,TricentisTosca, SAP, Selenium, or similar)

• Experience withSAP Solution Manager Test Suite /ChaRM

• Understanding ofintegration concepts, interfaces, IDOCs, and data flows

• Familiarity withAgile / Scrumand hybrid delivery models
