Job Description:
Ipsen is strengthening its SAP Center of Excellence to support the continuous evolution of its global finance systems and ensure robust, efficient, and compliant financial operations.
As part of this journey, we are looking for a SAP Finance & Controlling Expert (FI/CO) to join our Global Digital & IT Operations team.
This position is open following an internal move, offering the opportunity to take ownership of the Finance & Controlling SAP domain within a complex and international environment.
In this role, you will ensure the stability and continuous improvement of SAP Finance solutions, support business stakeholders, and contribute to the evolution of Ipsen’s SAP S/4HANA landscape.
You will work closely with Finance teams, IT partners, and external providers to deliver high-quality services while driving innovation and operational efficiency.
Your key responsibilities
- Own the SAP Finance & Controlling domain, ensuring reliable and efficient operations across finance processes.
- Manage system change requests and small enhancement projects, providing functional guidance and solution arbitration.
- Design functional solutions, write functional specifications, and oversee implementation and deployment activities.
- Act as a key interface between business stakeholders and external service providers for operational delivery.
- Ensure the stability and continuous improvement of SAP FI/CO processes within a global SAP environment.
- Support finance business teams by translating operational needs into scalable SAP solutions.
- Coordinate system updates, testing phases, and deployment activities.
- Contribute to the evolution of the SAP finance landscape and the adoption of S/4HANA capabilities.
Your profile & expertise
- Around 10 years of experience working with SAP, including 3–4 years on SAP S/4HANA.
- Strong expertise in SAP FI (Finance) anc CO (Controlling) modules
- Solid understanding of end-to-end finance processes such as Record-to-Report, Purchase-to-Pay, and Order-to-Cash.
- Ability to coordinate with external partners and manage offshore delivery teams.
- Fluent in English.
